I am passionate about exceptional standards and service and I believe that with the right education and collaboration anything can be accomplished.

Work experience

State of Colorado - Department of Revenue
*Contracted through Express Employment
October 2017-Present

As a business analyst with the Department of Revenue, I have worked in multiple government environments including Gentax and the customer-facing revenue online website. With year-end testing, I worked through and analyzed specific scenarios in order to address any problems the taxpayer might encounter as they filed their taxes, this included both filing returns as well as ensuring that all data correctly mapped over to Genax.

I also worked on special projects with our FAST development team to help transition our verbiage on all outgoing letters from the old www.taxcolorado.com to the more official www.colorado.gov/tax. I was able to utilize our SQR software to communicate clear and precise instruction as well as concise documentation of all steps throughout the

project.

As new service packs were released to address any updated changes that had to be made I continued to be part of the strong team that analyzed the business process testing in COO, COS, COP, and ROL.

Working through a temporary agency is a unique opportunity that lets you gain experience and exposure at an incredibly rapid pace. With such a quick turnaround you get a glimpse into many different work environments and can take away best practices while making contacts across diverse industries.

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design
January 2014 - August 2017

One of the smartest decisions I ever made was to take advantage of furthering my education through the employee tuition program at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (Rmcad). Being able to see an organization from both a student/client role as well as an employee role gave me a unique perspective on the community. In my many roles, I was able to see a student through enrollment, textbooks and through the administration and documentation of all confidential student records. Working in each department I was able to help identify problem areas and create new standard procedures.

Verizon Wireless
August 2006 - July 2013

I believe that everyone should work in some sort of retail or hospitality capacity at least once in their lives. Every day you are tasked with finding solutions on the spot. With telecommunication specifically, the information required to succeed is constantly changing. Each device is as unique as the people and personalities you work with every day. I had the opportunity to move into merchandising as well as become the data subject matter expert in my field before moving into a sales position. One of the more important things that I learned was how to recognize and defuse hostile situations.

Kirshbaum Demler Associates

June 2006 - September 2006

The talent I worked with during my time at Kirshbaum Associates were incredible artists, many winning Grammy awards in their field. The intimate environment here required anything from booking airlines and venues to making sure the Staples order was delivered so we could create and distribute press kits. As this is a lesser known company I have included some additional information below.

Kirshbaum Associates Inc., located on New York's Upper West Side, has built an enviable reputation as a highly personalized Artist Management and Public Relations office that represents a select and distinguished roster of artists. The company specializes in press campaigns and programs for the arts – particularly those supporting classical musicians, ensembles, and institutions – and in managing the robust international careers for many of today’s most acclaimed classical musicians. Kirshbaum Associates takes great pride in booking and managing the concert schedules – locally, nationally, and worldwide – of a highly diverse roster made up of both outstanding emerging artists and established luminaries of the classical world.

Artist Management

The Kirshbaum Associates environment is one of collaboration and trust between the artist and our team of booking managers. Through consistent networking with concert presenters, orchestras, opera companies, and festivals nationally and internationally, we work toward expanding the availability and exposure of our artists to exciting, prominent, and new markets.

Public Relations
Our publicists work closely with our artists to stay abreast of forthcoming projects while thinking creatively about the means and outlets to maximize their presence in every medium of the press. We utilize streamlined digital, social, and print materials to engage writers, journalists, and producers of mainstream and arts-centric media, with whom we maintain longstanding and productive relationships.

Marketing Consultation
Kirshbaum Associates frequently assists artists and presenters with targeted marketing outreach plans that include advertisement placement, logo design, image and photography, and social media strategy. We coordinate our efforts with marketing experts to ensure well-executed advertising that complements a strong public relations campaign, maximizing sales and public awareness.
